Cries of a Lone Hornbill
On hearing this call, I immediately looked up searching for where the call might be coming from for I knew it was the Grey Hornbill’s. I didn’t have to look for long; there it stood at 12:00, on one of the trees. The sight of this bird brought a smile to my face yet a little sadness to my heart. I quickly showed my son where the bird was, while telling him of the reason why the bird might be calling.
